In a noisy world full of competing messages, the most successful professionals aren’t just building businesses -they’re building brands that speak clearly, confidently, and with intention. Speak Up, Show Up is a 90-minute interactive workshop designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and community leaders who are ready to align their personal and professional presence with the impact they want to make.
Led by brand strategist Mindy Jones and communication expert Mark Newman, this dynamic session brings together two powerful perspectives: how to establish a brand that’s rooted in authenticity, community, and credibility, and how to communicate that brand in a way that builds trust, connection, and confidence.
In the first half of the workshop, you’ll work through five foundational pillars of brand development - personal authenticity, community engagement, content storytelling, strategic partnerships, and experiential exposure. You'll reflect on how you're currently showing up, where you're not yet visible, and what your brand is silently saying about you when you’re not in the room.
In the second half, you'll dive into the art of intentional communication. You'll explore how the words you choose, the stories you tell, and the feelings you leave behind shape how your brand is experienced by others. From sales conversations to networking moments to leading a team, you’ll learn how to speak up with clarity and conviction - without compromising your values or voice.

Arizona native Mindy Jones is a dynamic business leader, certified conversational strategist, and community builder with a passion for empowering others to connect and lead with intention. As the owner of The Amy Jones Real Estate Group—an award-winning, all-female-owned and operated team in Chandler—Mindy has spent over a decade helping families achieve their dreams of homeownership while fostering authentic leadership and community engagement.
Mindy is a Certified Guide for Exactly What to Say®, a Certified Quadrant3 Leadership Coach, and founder of Community on Purpose, a nonprofit supporting women and families. Through On Purpose Strategies, she provides customized coaching for entrepreneurs and corporate clients, helping leaders sharpen their communication skills and build meaningful connections.
A graduate of Gilbert Leadership Class 30, former chair of the Women Empowered Committee, and a longtime Gilbert Chamber of Commerce member, Mindy brings a deep understanding of the local business community to her work. Her workshops are known for blending practical tools with inspiring insights, helping leaders and business owners enhance their networking strategies, turn conversations into opportunities, and build authentic, lasting relationships. Mindy was awarded the Impact Award at the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Annual Business awards in June.
In addition to her professional achievements, Mindy finds her greatest joy as a devoted mom to her curious 1st grader, who inspires her to embrace possibility and lead with love.
