Aircraft Engine Specialists Relocates to Expanded Gilbert Headquarters to Support Growing Engine Overhaul and Exchange Operations
Gilbert, Arizona — September 4, 2026 — Aircraft Engine Specialists (AES), an FAA Part 145 repair station specializing in Lycoming and Continental piston-engine overhaul, repair, and exchange services, announces the relocation of its operations to a new, expanded headquarters at 612 E. Germann Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85297.
Founded in 2000, AES has built its business around precision workmanship, technical expertise, and dependable customer support. The company provides engine overhaul, repair, exchange, inspection, and related services to aircraft owners, flight schools, fleet operators, maintenance facilities, and other aviation professionals throughout the United States.
The move to Gilbert marks an important milestone in AES’s continued growth. Located just minutes from the company’s previous Chandler facility, the new headquarters provides substantially more space to support current operations and future expansion while maintaining convenient access for existing Arizona customers and business partners.
The expanded facility provides additional capacity for engine production, assembly, teardown and inspection, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and related operations. The investment is designed to improve workflow, increase production capacity, and strengthen AES’s ability to support customers requiring Lycoming and Continental engine overhaul and exchange services.
“Our growth is a direct reflection of the trust our customers place in us and the dedication of our team,” said Tim Varga, President of Aircraft Engine Specialists. “This new facility gives us the capacity to strengthen our overhaul and exchange programs while continuing to deliver the quality, precision, and customer service AES has been built on since 2000.”
The Gilbert headquarters represents a long-term investment in AES’s employees, customers, and operations. As the company continues to grow, AES plans to invest in workforce development, operational efficiency, inventory, and engine-support capabilities to meet the needs of aircraft owners and high-utilization operators across the country.
AES supports a broad range of Lycoming and Continental piston-engine models, with overhaul, repair, and exchange programs designed to serve individual aircraft owners as well as flight schools, fleet operators, and maintenance organizations.
“Our commitment remains the same: service without compromise and performance our customers can depend on,” Varga added. “We’re excited about this next chapter and grateful to the customers, vendors, partners, and employees who have helped us reach this milestone.”
